Designed in 1958 by Jacques Biny, the Biny table lamp could not be more contemporary. The lamp belongs to a whole series of unusual light objects and seems as if from another world. The stunning, stylized aesthetic between extraterrestrial being and robot is visually appealing as well as functionally convincing. The long lampshade with fins offers an unusually wide and gentle illumination; despite its conveniently small dimensions.And Biny has even another twist: The fins of its shade can be adjusted with a wheel, which allows the user to influence the light's direction, light scattering and intensity–this way Biny offers you an especially effective and pleasant lighting for reading or working.
DCW éditions' new edition of the Biny table lamp is equipped with a replaceable LED module and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of modern lighting technology.
