DCW éditions Mantis BS1 Floor Lamp

After his exile in England, the Mainz sculptor and industrial designer Bernard Schottlander has created an iconic series of lights with the Mantis series, whose trademark is the filigree design and the slightly curved shade. The arm of the floor lamp, which has a counterweight mechanism, can be tilted in four stages in a range of 20 °. Thus, the height of the lamp and the radius can be optimally adjusted depending on the location. In addition, the arm can be rotated completely around its own axis. To round off the perfect flexibility, there is a joint at the transition to the head of the lamp, which allows for even finetuning when aligning the shade.
