Description
The extraordinary candlesticks Luna Tavolo by Catellani & Smith from Italy convinces by unusual design. The foot consists of waxed iron and is supplemented by a vertically mounted metal disc. This is, depending on the variant, and typical of decorative objects made by Catellani & Smith, finished with copper, gold or silver foil. A candle placed in front of the disc serves as a light source to which the disc forms the reflector and also acts as a glare protection if necessary. This creates an atmospheric light, which makes for a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.
