Artemide Castore Tavolo Table Lamp

Castore tavolo is a table lamp, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Huub Ubbens on behalf of the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. The central feature of the luminaire is its round blown glass diffuser. This screen is complemented by a stem in thermoplastic resin and a foot out of zamak.

The Italian premium manufacturer provides Castore tavolo in various sizes, all of which have different properties. The smallest version, Castore tavolo 14, has a G9 socket for halogen bulbs. All other variants are equipped with a standard E27 socket and so suitable for a wide range of lamps. They also come standard with a touch dimmer which allows the lamp switch free to use.

Artemide Castore tavolo won after the first publication does not without reason, many important design awards, including the Compasso d'Oro and the German Red Dot Design Award.
