Shakti 200 Floor Lamp Kundalini
The floor lamp Shakti 200 by the Italian top-manufacturer Kundalini was designed by Marzio Rusconi Clerici and, because of it's iconic status, takes up a very special place in the realm of designer lamps. Its structure may seem simple at first: A laser-cut, extruded acrylic glass tube is mounted to either a satin or chromed base. This tube is open on two sides, which makes it possible to use Shakti's light for reading or the soft illumination of its surroundings. With a height of 200cm and the four possible colors white, orange, red and fuchsia the Shakti 200 floor lamp can enrich every room with a distinctive, almost mystical charm. Because of the new co-extrusion-technology, Shakti's light will always appear white, no matter which exterior color you choose. A dimmer emphasizes this very functional approach and opens up even more possibilities to illuminate every room according to your desires and needs.
Since this kind of illuminated body is also always an impressive piece of artistry, the Shakti floor lamp does not only possess a clever lighting concept and new technological achievements, but also its very own kind of symbolic power. In Hindu mythology Shakti is the collective of all female deities, which embody the active energy and are responsible for the balance of light and dark in the universe. This makes the illuminated body of Shakti more than just a lamp, it becomes a bearer of happiness and energy. This integration of product and art are typical for Kundalini, and it is the main reason why every Kundalini lamp is truly unique.
