Random Light White Pendant Light moooi
The Dutch design-manufacture moooi developed the Random Light suspended lamp in 2001. It was designed by the Dutch Bertjan Pot who is accountable for a variety of exclusive lighting and furniture designs. It is noticeable on the first view that the moooi Random light is more than just an ordinary suspended lamp.
The lampshade of the Random light is made of fibre-glass and epoxy. The perfectly formed globe of the lampshade does not constitute a continuous surface but consists of a vast number of thin and flat rods. These rods trail over the surface of the Random suspended light in a criss-cross way and form an irregular pattern which is newly composed with every different point of view. This pattern also causes the impressive play of light which the Random suspended lamp projects on walls and ceiling.
Moooi offers the Random light both in a white and black alternative. You can also choose between a diameter of 50 cm, 80 cm or 110 cm. Further lamps from the Random family by moooi can be found on this site.
This suspended lamp is suitable for a variety of areas of application. Apart from a usage in the living room, the moooi Random also cuts a fine figure in restaurants, bars or lobbies.
The illuminant can easily be changed through an opening at the top of the lampshade. The E27 socket allows a variety of compatible illuminants.
