Luceplan
Luceplan was founded in Italy in 1978 by the three designers Riccardo Sarfatti, Paolo Rizzatto and Sandra Severi. During the first years the dominant central themes emerged, on which the company’s daily business is still based: 1) Attention to detail, 2) pre-planning the whole life cycle of a lamp, 3) environmental sustainability not for the sake of marketing but as an obligation. With these central motifs Luceplan expanded rapidly. If you ever step into a German post office you will immediately recognise the Titania pendant lamp. This luminaire exemplifies Luceplan’s adaptability: Just by changing different colour filters the light fitting emits a wholly different light. Of course, Luceplan lamps are not only geared towards object lighting. Luceplan’s product range also encompasses tasteful floor lamps and other adaptable pendant lamps.
