Description
The Mantis BS1 B floor lamp, designed by the Mainz sculptor and industrial designer Bernard Schottlander, is particularly convincing due to its flexibility. The slightly curved shade is attached to a filigree frame. To ensure that the luminaire keeps its balance, it is equipped with a counterweight mechanism. The arm can be tilted in four steps within a range of 20°. In addition, it can be rotated completely around its own axis. To round off the perfect flexibility, there is a joint at the transition to the head of the floor lamp. Thus, the light head can be rotated by 360 degrees.
