Tunto Design LED4 Table Lamp

With the led4 table lamp, the Finnish designer Mikko Kärkäinnen made it again. After the success of his designs for the LED1 and LED2, he was again awarded the red dot design award 2011. Every shot is a hit you could say, as he so with every design of its LED - could reap the most coveted family.

Where does this incredible success? Well, it is the result of hard, conscientious work and a strong creative process. The led4 table lamp is made from only carefully selected materials (in this case from American walnut), being strictly on an ecological compatibility and sustainable forestry. This quest for efficiency is also reflected in the choice of the light source again. It is again completely on LED lighting, which the lamp with a 15W consumption - making it a very efficient light solution - at 870Lumen strong light output. A beautiful creative solution has been found for the use of a dimmer. Instead, as is often the case, to integrate into the cable or switch to mount it on the lamp itself Tunto Design has opted for a touch sensor dimmer. This has been almost invisibly embedded into the base element and the light is reflected only by the light of three small LEDs. Kärkäinnen justified the choice of the dimmer so that he wanted to get people to engage with the wood material and she wanted to encourage them to touch the lamp.
