Fun 10DM Pendant Light Verpan
The Fun 10DM pendant light by Verpan belongs, as part of the Fun series, to one of the most extensive lamp families designed by Verner Panton. The Danish star designer created Fun in 1964, he wanted to create a luminaire that not only provides light, but also has a lasting aesthetic effect on its environment. The shade of the Fun 10DM pendant lamp consists of many individual sea shells, which have been sanded to uniform circles, each still a bit different due to their natural origin. The shimmering mother-of-pearl reflects the light in an exciting way, and under wind, for example when a door is opened or when a light window breeze comes in, Fun spreads a delicate sound across the room.
The refined playfulness of this 1960s design has retained its validity and expressiveness to this day - a design which, with its timelessness, still points the way for future lighting and living space design.
Fun 10DM is especially suitable for the illumination of tables, because the diameter of 57 cm gives a good light distribution, while the pendulum is not too massive, so that a good view is guaranteed.
