In 1975 the Italian designer Tommaso Cimini a brilliant idea, in consequence of this idea, the first Daphine lamp was produced in 1977. This lamp has developed into a classic lamp world and is still celebrated by connoisseurs of the scene as a highlight in the history of lighting. Producer Lumina, the luminaire has now been adapted to the needs of today's world. Here, a more efficient and sustainable illumination design of Daphine should be left untouched, the same will be possible. Result is the Daphine LED table lamp. This lamp combines the advantages of classical Daphine with modern technology, so as to lay the basis for the classic remake. This is reflected in the technical design of the Daphine LED that is dedicated to sustainability and climate change: a modern LED replaces the halogen lamp formerly used, this reduces the power of the light from 50W to 7.9 W - while also significantly improved illumination properties. The light color of 2800K to 3000K is changing - this means a light that is still perceived as a warm and pleasant, but at the same time stimulating and energetic acts. A halogen lamp has an average life of approximately 2000 hours of operation - the LED used, however, lived on average more than 50,000 hours of operation - a clear signal towards sustainability.
Lumina thus succeeds in a classic breathe with the LED table lamp Daphine new life, so it is still usable with a clear conscience in the context of climate change.
