Concert Pendant Light Light Years
The name of the Danish architect Jorn Utzon is probably known to just a few people, but his buildings are world famous. One of the most impressive ones is the Sydney Opera House, which characterises the skyline of the Australian city with its sail-like concrete shells. Now, the Danish lighting manufacturer Light Years introduces the Concert pendant light The light, which was designed by Utzon himself, is inspired by the distinctive shapes of the opera house.
The shade of well-shaped light consists of four elements that slot together looking almost like petals. While the two downward domes direct the glow of light under the shade, the two upward shells direct a portion of the light over the shade and thus emphasise the particular shape of the shade. An additional, element integrated into the shade subdues the downward light and by this means creates a pleasant lighting atmosphere.
The light is available in various sizes and can be chosen to match different decor styles.
